We raised $1150 for the 2017 Greater Helena Gives Event! Because of our generous donors, we can expand our educational programming for the 2017-2018 school year. Local support matters, and you matter! Cultivate Helena participated in the 2017 Greater Helena Gives event on May 4, and we were blown away by how the Helena community came forth to show support for our programming. Twenty donors generously contributed $850, while local business D.A. Davidson gave us an additional $300 for having the greatest number of unique donors in an early morning hour. Splanglish Kids Digging the Sun and Soil at ExplorationWorks Garden Once again, it was time to meet with Maestra and her Spanglish Kids at the ExplorationWorks garden and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful morning to do so. This is the fourth time that this group of preschoolers has helped to prepare the garden beds for the season. First, we spread compost in all of the beds, preparing them for planting. We have been working tirelessly, collaborating with the likes of AERO, Lewis & Clark Youth Court, Carroll College and West Mont Farm & Gardens on a project we intend to launch in Spring of 2017: The Cultivate Youth Collective.
